Hong Kong, June 2008

It's not as good as I imagined. When I was in Los Angeles Airport waiting for the Cathay Pacific plane to fly me to Hong Kong I have seen the weather forecast for Hong Kong and it's rain and thunder all the weekend. At that time I just pray that the forecast is wrong. But it is not.

I arrived on Friday morning and it was raining. I took the Airport Express to Central and then straight to North Point using the MTR (subway). I have to walk in the rain from North Point MTR station to Ibis North Point hotel (thank God it's not far). That day practically I can go nowhere except some mall that connected to the MTR station.

Saturday was worse. I almost can't go anywhere because of the storm.

Today the sun is showing his face and I'm able to stick with my plan which is meet my friend Parves. I asked him where to buy a Nintendo DS because my friend asked me to bring one for him. So he show me a place in Sham Shui Po called Golden Shopping Arcade. The good news is I get the Nintendo DS for my friend, the bad news is I also ended up buying Nintendo Wii for my self (haha). Well, I don't know I'm not really a gamer but Wii seem to be very interesting and i can't resist to buy it. One thing for sure my daughter will love it and probably I will love it too ;)

Tomorrow morning I will be flying back to Bali.
